Most places I have been in small towns the sushi is not fresh. That is not the case here. I have had sushi here several times and Everytime it was very good.
I stumbled upon this restaurant in the small town of Deale, MD. It is a family-run Korean and Japanese food restaurant and is an enjoyable experience dining there. The restaurant is unobtrusive but during the summer, it looks like a small botanical garden outdoors where you can enjoy dining outside. I especially like taking friends and guests to the restaurant and have had several wonderful anniversary dinners there.
My wife and I both lived in Japan for many years and visited Korea several times. Since then we've traveled all over the world. I was initially skeptical about how good a place could be in Deale. This is without a doubt the most authentic and delicious Asian food I've had since leaving Japan. Mamasan is a wonderful happy hostess. There are not enough amazing comments I could leave to describe this place. We feel so blessed to have found it only a few miles from our front door.
Always a very friendly atmosphere. No matter how busy they are, the owner and staff will provide great service. The fish is very fresh, never hazy. Rolls are always packed, you will get your money worth from each piece. It's nice being able to stay in your town to get a great bite to eat, and not having to go into Annapolis or Prince Frederick.
Been going to this place since it opened, and have yet to have a bad experience. My wife and I went tonight, and the owner gave us a Christmas card. That may not seem like a lot to some, but it's a very humble gesture not seen from many places.
Amazing food and great service. We have eaten here numerous times before and they never disappoint. Truly amazing!
